Texas Wine Country is a Must Do, Says Travel Blogger Kathy Petrino

Kathy Petrino is an enthusiastic traveler, of course, but there is more to her than that. She not only has a strong desire to see as much of the world as possible before she is finished, but Kathy thankfully loves to write about everything she sees. Even more impressive is, she loves to post everything on her travel blog for everyone to see. Kathy Petrino loves to share everything, because that’s how you keep travel destinations afloat and appealing to visit again and again. That includes one of her favorite destinations anywhere, which happens to be Texas Wine Country.

When people think about a Reid centered on wine, Kathy Petrino knows Texas isn’t usually at the top of their list. However, she wants you to know that the Lone Star State has been doing a lot to improve its reputation as a wine producer that is among the best in the world. Texas Hill Country has been growing some of the best grapes in the country and, as a result, dozens of Texas wineries are producing some of the best varietals outside of the West Coast in the United States. When one travels along Wine Road 290, they will discover a wider range of wines available than they thought possible, including many Tempranillos, Malbecs, and Cabernets. There also are hundreds of state-of-the-art tasting rooms in which to enjoy them. Also, big music and wine events dot Hill Country, including some that combine great Texas barbecue brisket with country and rockabilly music to lift your spirits in more ways than one.
